Lord of the Trash

It really is relentless. More tins, more fag butts, more shit and more disrespect and bollox.

So I picked up all the litter. Swept the upper end where all the people sit, drink, shoot up and create a shit load of trash. The Athiest Vegan does it again. Another whole bag of shit and fag butts. How long before it is again trashed.

The grass and weeds are so over grown and still the church does nothing to help clean it up.

Off to another site tomorrow morning.

St. Trashy

Damn, it's shit. On the 2nd of June I cleaned St. John's  graveyard and the very next day beer cans, boxes, food cartons all over the place including the graves. I was not even cleaning it that day, I did not pick it up as it seems people in Southend-on-Trash enjoy walking amongst shit, debris and the waste of others. I went to clean up a shelter just past Rossi's and below the Cliffs Pavilion to the right.

The shelter is always full of tins, bottles, wrappers, #cigarette #butts and has a marvelous aroma of stale #piss. A beautiful place for the elderly and children to sit and eat their burger and fries while having a day out. Nothing better than the foul stench of piss when by the sea."Didn't we have a lovely time the day we smelt the piss"

So I picked up the cans, bottles and boxes etc but there was still a load of cigarette butts, bottle tops and the immense stench of putrid filth. 

The #council could do better here. Councils used to send people out daily to sweep and clean street furniture and the likes of. Now, just like the shitty places the council's don't give a shit. So come to Southend-On-Trash, Southend-On-Piss, Southend-On-Stench, Southend-On-Filth. The people have given up, the council have given up, it's just a large mound of trash where people don't give a shit.

Graveyard of Trash 2

The Athiest Vegan has to be called into action again at #stjohnschurch in #southend as a week later and the place is full of shit again. 

Beer cans galore, food packaging, a lot of the #polystyrene type which shops refuse to change. Lots of bottles, crisp bags, shitty tissue behind bushes and a whole heap of human filth. 

Sad that the moralistic church going people have no inclination to do this, it's all overgrown, a shambles of a place, rest in shit, trash and lack of care poor dead people. Shame on those that cannot be bothered to help clean this space, shame on those that littler this place and shame on the ##council for not taking action.

After a bag and a half in the #cemetary I started to walk back and filled up the other half just picki g up from a verge  by some houses. Been there for ages, looks like the council don't give a shit.

Southchurch Hall Gardens Pick up

What is not to like about Southchurch Hall Gardens? Well for one the trash the people love to leave for others to pick up.  Secondly the plastic that makes its way to the ponds and will affect the wildlife. Thirdly the fag butts strewn all over the place. Fourthly the dogs shit that people cannot be asked to pick up. Fifthly the council being to stingy and short sighted by not having park keepers any longer.

So I meandered around the park with my trusty litter picker and bag to clean, yet again, this amazing space. Now I know there is a whole group of People who also clean this park #SHIP who do a fantastic job cleaning this park and around #Southendonsea so it makes it even worse that I still managed to pick up a bag and a half of unnatural badness (as opposed to a pint and a half of natural goodness).  Beer cans, vodka bottles, crisp packets, fag butts, a used condom, sweet wrappers and the list continues. 

However I spoke to a lovely lady out with her kids and she asked about helping so I told her, "gloves, litter picker and 20 bags are all available for £1 each at Poundland". Therefore for £3 you could be out and about in nature, helping the local environment and all its wildlife, grabbing some exercise, getting some vitamin D, making people happy that the place is clean and also feeling good and smug that you did this.
